This woodland wedding in Sydney’s Centennial Park looks like something out of a dream. The ceremony was held in a clearing amongst a forest of pine trees and the styling featured pops of red as well as native Australian flowers.

Natahnee and Blair’s dream wedding was simple: to create a day that truly represented them and their unique story. It was more about creating an atmosphere that made their guests feel special rather than following a particular trend or theme. “We came to the concept of a glamorous cocktail party,” said Natahnee.
The couple chose a beautiful afternoon in the cool shade of the Pine Grove Forest in Centennial Parklands. The location was meaningful to Natahnee and Blair as it was their ‘backyard’ and a place they often went to relax together. Natahnee said, ”I remember walking down the aisle, it was like a fairy tale. It was so beautiful.”
The vibrant shades of red in the native flowers (such as proteas), roses and poppies in the bouquets coupled with Natahnee’s deep red lipstick beautifully offset the dark browns and greens of the trees and pine needles. Inlighten Photography was on hand to capture the magic of the day. “We liked their energy. It was important for us that we connected well with our chosen photographer, we were letting them into our little world and we wanted to feel at ease and comfortable,” said Natahnee.
“Inlighten Photography made us feel relaxed, they blended into the background, silently capturing all the magic moments,” said Natahnee.
